VIDEOGAME URBANISM
BPRO SHOW SPACE 2019
Exhibition of work produced by our Videogame Urbanism students as part of the Bartlett MArch Urban Design programme 2019. The design of the space was continued to use our modular shelving system designed specifically to accommodate various game interfaces, allowing for controllers to be hung, custom arcade buttons to be installed and mouse/keyboard configurations to be placed.
The exhibition featured 6 different playable games, along with experimental drawings, a showreel video and making-of film, as well as code book describing the game design processes behind the work.
The exhibition was built around a specially produced 4-player game projected onto a CNC-milled game surface. This game was a compendium of different urban elements designed by students across the year.
